Tips: What to Practice - Note Reading Bass Clef

Left to right, that’s the way. We read music the same way we read a book. We just need to learn to read the music notes language.

The language of music is written on the musical staff and uses a clef to name the notes. Like the beginning of the alphabet the names of the notes are: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. That’s it, 7 name letters, like Gigi likes to say.
